Well here’s a rather rare good post summing up Code Geass R2… from the forum… by Forsakenlight
The Full post after the break…
R.I.P Lelouch vi Britannia
You are the best male protaganist i have ever watched, this will not change until someone more awesome and FABULOUS than u emerge. Sacrificing your life for the sake of the world, accepting your punishment for using geass, u are f***ing awesome. People who watched u claim that u lived as the cart driver with C.C, but i as your fanboy personally would want u stay dead. But if u really lived, i hope u are having the hell of your life with C.C *ahem, ahem*, your job in the world is done, time to step back and let ppl carry on your legacy. On a side note, i kinda pity your friend suzaku, now he can never live as kururugi suzaku, but forever as the ally of justice Zero.

-okok fanboy mode over, seriously this episode make ppl shed manly tears, it finally brought an end to the code geass chapter. Despite it been called trainwreck since epi.21, the ending what i really expected and wanted, with Lelouch wearing the mask of evil and lies till the end. Seriously though, i can’t see the series to end any better without Lelouch biting the dust, there are just too much plotholes left unresolved (C.C what is your name again?). In addition, there are also seem to be too much meaningless side characters(stupid Rounds Members). This ending might actually give the entire series a good closure and make all the hatred for the rushed plot to go away. HOWEVER, despite all the mob hatred, plotholes and useless canon Rounds fodders, Code Geass definately served its purpose as being one of the MOST entertaining and enjoyable anime in anime history.
LOL seriously though, why bother filling up the plotholes when it has actually served its entertainment purpose, as long as the DVDs and Blu-rays keep selling, Sunrise will continue to earn, and this is EXCLUDING the royalties earned from the merchandises. Anyway, given the open-ended ending, sunrise might actually make an OVA or movie to continue to milk people’s money, but knowing the director, i doubt it will happen. If (it) actually happen, i hope they can tie up some of the loose ends and let us know C.C’s name.
Well…… I am not ashamed to say, Code Geass is inevitably one of the BEST anime I have ever seen, with Lelouch’s awesome FABULOUS-NESS making up for any flaws LOL. Definitely not perfect, but easily one of the most entertaining and enjoyable.
I personally give it a 8/10 score.
And yes… we do have a forum…

Ah, I may sound like a little fangirl or whatever, but long live Lelouch Vi Britannia! It was a heartbreaking anime. I admit, I was annoyed with episodes 16-24 but, the ending was amazing. It reminded you of why you watched the show! For the ending. I cried for about an hour straight. It reminded me of death note, Light was my favorite character in Death Note and when he died I cried for an hour straight. I might be a jinx. Itachi in Naruto was my favorite, then Light from Death Note, now Lelouch!!!! R.I.P
Mmm, I don’t think that picture sums it up very accurately at all..
n_n;; I think that his funeral was probably more of a find-a-spot-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-and-dump-the-body-in-a-shallow-grave kind of a deal.
WWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I Miss My Lulu and I didn’t want him to be killed!
This anime was the greatest i had ever seen i rly wished it didnt end but it ended perfectly despite the fact that i wished lelouch survived and all the friends basically lost each other. Long live Lelouch!
