Well, important issues first:

1. Dinner next Saturday 5th September?

Okay some of you (yea I know Tyson is one of them) are going off to ITP soon right? Oh for those that do not know what that is, its attachment – something that can be enjoyable but can also be horrible, if you don’t do things correctly.

And of course, Friday is the last day of the exam week…

So… what better way to celebrate the end of a tough and lousy time of our school life but to celebrate with a dinner? Oh, and of course, to see off those going to do their attachment =p

To save time on deciding and beating around the bush… here are the details :

venue : seoul garden, marina one. near suntec.

time : meet at 5:15 at mrt

how much : probably $20 – $25 per head.

oh btw, its tyson’s birthday too. sing a song for him on that day yea?

2. September/October Classes

For Manga Dept read only: well as you all know, the first class is going to start two weeks from now, and I was thinking of just throwing in a reminder:

-          Classrooms are booked (I booked a lecture theatre, but you already know that I book the CARD, not the venue… hehehe…)

-          Bring your usual stuff

-          First lessons’ going to be about… well, give me time…

-          Time: 11am onwards. Meet around FC5

Pretty simple? Yep that’s the way it should be, simple…

3. Tanghoon Festival? (want or do not want?)

For everyone to read. I contacted Amalina and well… after she gave me some info… it just seems like September isn’t a good month to have Tanghoon Festival again…

For those who don’t already know what it is, Tanghoon Festival is an annual event held by SPLA, within SPLA, for SPLA. So what do we do? BBQ + Steamboat, and eat tanghoon (as one of the dishes), or rice vermicelli. And seems to be always held around September…

I was thinking of having it during the *assumed to be postponed to last week of* September camp (but then again… well… never mind the bad news…), or does anyone from the main comm. have a better suggestion?

Now for randomness!:

English version of FF: Dissidia is out! Go play it (if you haven’t already played the Japanese version some months back of course…)

Ha ha! Nice topic.

So I know that some of you might be joining in as new blood to the war in Azeroth… and while we see possible new players from amongst ourselves joining the game, the next question would be : would the current players stay on for the next expac?

Ha, we’ll see… we’ll see…

3. Manga Class What-to-Do(s)

So you ask what? And I’ll tell you what.

We will resume with classes in a manner which is similar to a review class (not the final review type, but general review class), and after you are kind of confident on what your skills can create on paper, we will move to production and planning. Oh and I also want to gear people up to submit artwork for competitions, which all take place in November, so no worries, you can still train now if you want the prestige.

Well, not at the moment. But I will update again real soon. Real soon! Next update will probably be about camp.
