October promises to be a flurry of new releases, especially in the Macross series. Not animation related, but music related.
October 21st will see the release of a new single from May’n, titled ‘Pink Monsoon’. This is a insert song to be featured in the Macross F movie ‘Itsuwari no Utahime’ to be screened in Japanese theaters on November 21st.
October 14th will see the release of Macross Gannen Kinen Chojiku Anthem: Iki wo Shiteiru Kanjiteiru. It is a single for the Macross Crossover concert to be held on the October 17th & 18th. List of singers? Don’t drool yet, get a bucket to place below your mouth.

Yes, your eyes is not fooling around. These 5 will be in the concert together for the first time! Given the fact that there will be a DVD/BD release of the F Galaxy Tour Final later this year, we should expect a similar release for those who can’t attend such a mega event! Do check up here for info should there be a DVD/BD release of this mega galactic concert!
For November, days after the premier of the Macross F movie, the DVD/BD of the F Galaxy Tour Final will be released on the 27th. For those who wants to know what will they be seeing from the concert, spoiler here.
For PSP owners, October 1st will see the release of Macross Ultimate Frontier game. More VFs to use, more characters available as well, but this time round, the BGMs are more complete as compared to last year’s Macross Ace Frontier.
