Tales of Vesperia is already out on the PlayStation 3, but how about the Wii? That may be exactly what Namco-Bandai is planning, as Japanese voice actor Rikiya Koyama has reportedly leaked the news that Namco-Bandai is planning on porting the game once again.
“Tales of Vesperia is coming out on one thing after another: Xbox 360, then PS3, and now upcoming, goes on sale even on the Wii,” he wrote on his blog.
“More shortly, the feature film anime version is also opening in theaters (But I’m not in it…), and after that, there’s also a CD.”
With the similar-looking Tales of Graces also due for the Wii, it’s possible that he simply mixed up the names. But it’s a move that also makes sense for Namco-Bandai, which recently reported a $66.7 million loss for the first half of the fiscal year. It would appear that Namco-Bandai is intent on squeezing every penny from one of the franchise’s more popular titles.
Koyama voices the character of Duke in Tales of Vesperia
Sigh, just as expected from them.
